Do you have One Month Memberships?

Yes, and you may purchase them at the YMCA of Steuben County front desk for the following rates: Youth $37.00; Young Adult $60.00; Adult $75.00; Senior $75.00; Senior Couple $80.00 Single Family $80.00; Family $90.00. You will have full member privileges of our facility. For your convenience PRINT and complete these membership forms before you come in. Should you be interested in converting your one month membership into a traditional membership, you will have no join fee within one month of conversion. Click here for membership pricing.

Do you sell Day Passes for the Public?

The purpose of a day pass is to allow the public to use our facility aside from a membership. Our public day rate is: Youth $5.00; Adult $10.00; Family $15.00. Day passes cover the duration of a full day upon sign-in and re-entry is permissible. Participant form must be signed upon first visit to the facility. Minors under the age of 18 must have a parent-signed participant form on file. For your convenience, parents can PRINT and complete the participant form for minor to bring in or the forms are available for parents to sign at the desk upon drop-off.

Does it Cost for Members to Bring Guests?

We encourage members to bring an out-of-town/local business associate, neighbor or friend for an occasional visit. Guests will be required to sign participant form upon first visit to the facility. New members get three free guest passes. Following usage of complimentary passes, members can bring guest at half price day pass. These rates are: Youth $2.50; Adult $5.00; Family $7.50 per visit. Re-entry within the day is permissible. Minors under the age of 18 must have a parent-signed participant form on file. For your convenience, parents can PRINT and complete the participant form for minor to bring in or the forms are available for parents to sign at the desk upon drop-off.

Are we able to use other YMCAs outside of our home Y?

YMCA A.W.A.Y. ProgramAs a member of the YMCA of Steuben County, you now have Nationwide Membership and may visit ANY participating YMCA in the U.S.A. with no extra charge.

Nationwide Membership is offered to assist you in reaching your health and wellness goals wherever you live, work, or travel.

Does the YMCA of Steuben County offer Financial Assistance?

The YMCA of Steuben County is pleased to offer the Membership Assistance Program (MAP) which is designed to provide financial assistance to those people in our community who wish to strive for healthy living but can't quite fit a full-price membership in their budget.

It is the policy of this Y that no child is turned away from enjoying the benefits of membership based upon their ability to pay for a membership. The Y also offers financial assistance to adults and families that can not afford to pay the full cost of a membership. Reductions in membership fees are subject to qualification of personal needs and financial resources of the Y.

Membership scholarships are six-month committed memberships that are based off of household dependents, household income, and any special circumstance that may heed assistance. If member desires to renew upon six-month commitment completion, a new application and income verification must be provided. 

The Y offers this program through generous donations from our members and community and through our Annual Adopt A Child.

Can I transfer, hold, or cancel my membership?

Because YMCAs are all individually-owned, membership information is non-transferable between Ys. We would recommend cancellation of current membership and creation of new membership at desired Y. If transfer is within one month, join fee is typically waived.

Members have the ability to put their membership on hold one time a year for up to six months. This will freeze any payment within that time frame. There is a $20.00 processing fee. We require a 30 day notice for hold and any payment that may process within that 30 days is non-refundable.

Membership at your YMCA of Steuben County is a one year commitment. Should you decide to end your membership after that first year, we need a 30 day notice to stop your automatic bank or credit card withdrawal. Any payment that may process within that 30 days is non-refundable; Facility may be used through time covered by last payment. This notice is a form that you can request at the front desk. 

Are There Minimum Enrollment Requirements for Programs to Run?

Yes. The Y reserves the right to cancel any program if enrollment is insufficient. A full refund or class credit will be given in this event.

Are Corporate Memberships Available?

Corporate Member employees will receive a waived join fee and 10% discount on the monthly rate. Discount is given through payroll deduct opt-in. Ask your employer if they are a part of the YMCA of Steuben County Corporate Program.

College Students?

We offer Trine nights for the students of the local university. These take place during the school year (October-end of April) on Thursday nights from 9:00 pm to 12:00 am 

What are the additional charges for the aerobic classes?

All land and water aerobics are included free with your membership. There is also a charge for swim lessons, sports programs, leagues and specialty programs.
